Tradewind Travel Ltd is a small friendly business, run by born and raised South Africans. We return regularly to keep in touch. We specialise only in South and Southern Africa so you can be sure you are getting the best possible service. All our tour operators are personally vetted and most activities we offer have been experienced in person. Thus we are able to offer exclusive advice and suggestions to suit your needs.
The booking system has been designed to ensure you get the most from your holiday and the booking experience. Our expert advice will help in educating you to what the country has to offer and the types of activities that will suit your requirements.

To use our online system – this is what you do!
- Browse our site and choose all the activities you would like to experience. Put them in your travel case. When you are ready, submit your travel case. Please specify in the notes whether you would like to do all items in the travel case or whether you want help choosing between certain of the submitted tours.
- Shortly after, we will contact you, (at your preferred time and method) to gather more information and make sure we are clear on your requirements and dates etc
- Receive a suggested personal itinerary of your holiday
- Agree or amend itinerary
- We check again with all our suppliers and airlines for availability and make provisional bookings. Please note a most airlines will only hold provisional bookings for 48-72 hours.
- Decide if you would like any extra services that we offer such as airport shuttle, insurance etc.
- Fill in the booking form and place a deposit on the holiday (if booked more than 60 days prior, otherwise full payment is required) Please note our booking conditions require you to have insurance at the time of booking.
- Pay your final balance (if not paid in full)
- Enjoy your holiday, overload brain with fantastic memories
- Complete our customer service form to illustrate how we can improve your nest holiday experience with us
